Arisha In Wonderland

The ability to call the school reception at any moment to find out how one's child is doing is also something to add to the number of the school's positive points. Here, we are not thinking only about comforting the children, but also about reassuring the parents.

Arisha began nursery school at P'titCREF when she was 3 years old. Our little girl, who up to this point had had very little contact with other children her age or with teachers, immediately found herself in a world of colours, a world filled with love, kindness, imagination, freedom, respect, and understanding. How wonderful and interesting it has been to be in such an atmosphere!

To be honest, during the three years that Arisha spent at P'titCREF, we, her parents, were jealous. In our childhood, such nursery schools did not exist.

The Advantages Of P'titCREF

The first quality of this school is of course the trilingual education (Russian, English, and French in parallel). If at first we were a bit skeptical about the two new languages which would be taught to our daughter, after three years, the concrete results of this foreign language education system are clear: our child understands and speaks in French and in English. I think that today, at just the age of 5, her abilities in language are equivalent to those of a child at the end of her second year in primary school in Russia who has had supplemental reinforced lessons in languages. Teachers, children, and parents can be proud of this result.

We must next speak about the teachers. It has been very important to us that, as soon as she started school, Arisha has viewed her teachers not as strict supervisors to be feared, but instead as friends, guides to an interesting world of knowledge and of new discoveries. This is indeed how it was during Arisha's three years spent at P'titCREF. For her, teachers have been heroes who she has wished to emulate.

I should note in particular the work of her English teacher, Jef. Here is a true star of teaching and the students' darling. He is a talented teacher, knowing how to gain respect, understanding the psychology of the young, and knowing how to find an approach to each child, all with a lot of humour. This is how a child's first teacher should be.

Arisha also loved her French teacher, Aurélie. She has often spoken about her classes at home.

We also had the joy of getting to know Natalia, the nursery assistant who, over the course of these three years at the school, became a dear friend. From the beginning, she helped us not only with organisational questions, but with understanding our child better. She is very attentive, sensitive, and like Jef, knows how to find common ground with children quickly, regardless of their character!

At P'titCREF, it is very creative. This is another strength we should mention. The children have the opportunity to try out a variety of fields, from choreography to robotics. In her three years of learning at this kindergarten, we filled three enormous boxes with Arisha's creations. She still looks at them with interest and tells us the story of how each of them were made.

We are also grateful for the administration of the institution for their excellent organisation of the learning process. The informational emails and reminders sent every day are lifesavers for busy parents. The ability to call the school reception at any moment to find out how one's child is doing is also something to add to the number of the school's positive points. Here, we are not thinking only about comforting the children, but also about reassuring the parents.

In conclusion, I would like to once again underline the unique atmosphere at P'titCREF. It is an atmosphere in which gaining new knowledge of the world is exciting. The teaching process is light and joyful. We develop the children's taste and sense of rhythm. You must agree that this is very important.

To those parents who are reluctant to enroll your children in such a school, I would advise without hesitation to stop doubting or asking questions. If the opportunity should ever arise in the future, we would return to this school with other children.
